The Young Advisors of the Boston Preservation Alliance present:

Libations for Preservation

A cocktail competition of historic proportions

Saturday, September 26th, 5:00-7:30pm

This fun, social event pits bartenders from the best neighborhood bars in Boston against each other to craft new, historically-inspired cocktails. Your ticket gets you generously-sized samples of each cocktail and, more importantly, voting rights!

The money raised will directly support the Boston Preservation Alliance’s educational outreach programs, which engage the public in learning about the cultural and economic value of the Boston's historic resources and the need to protect them. We are excited to celebrate the neighborhood establishments that help make our city home and we hope you'll come join us!

This year’s competition is fierce, with both new and returning faces. Joining this year’s throwdown:

Canary Square, representing Jamaica Plain and defending their 2014 title

Ward 8, representing the North End and a 2014 finalist

Ashmont Grill, representing Dorchester

LOCO Taqueria & Oyster Bar, representing South Boston

Carrie Nation, representing Beacon Hill

Wink & Nod, representing the South End

Speaking of new and returning faces, we are pleased once again to be hosting the competition at GrandTen Distilling at 383 Dorchester Avenue in South Boston. We are rounding out the evening with live music by Babydriver, raffle prizes, and food by MeiMei, voted Boston’s Best Meal on Wheels. Union Park Press will be serving up facts about the history of Boston’s food and drink, and judges Adam Lantheaume of The Boston Shaker and Matt Maslin of Boston BarHopper will be sharing with us what makes these bartenders so talented.

We want to see your new or returning face as well! Buy your tickets here, and follow the fun @BOSPreservation and #libationsforpres!
