Attention junior crime scene investigators! A treasured artifact made of rubies has been stolen from the Kansas Museum of History, and you have three days to find out "who done it."

At the Kansas Museum of History on Wednesday, March 19, participants will work with a forensic scientist to examine the crime scene and learn how to collect and analyze evidence. They will explore artifacts from Kansas history and learn how to create a mini museum exhibit. At the Kansas Children's Discovery Center on Thursday and Friday, March 20 - 21, participants will learn several forensic techniques such as footprint and fingerprint identification, and hair and DNA analysis. The junior investigators will learn everything they need to solve the crime.
