Celebrate the 175 Anniversary of John Quincy Adams’ visit to Cincinnati to where he presided over the dedication of  the Cincinnati Observatory! This two part event includes a commemorative dinner in the Hayner House ballroom followed by a John Quincy Adams first-person program at Somerset Church. 

Vincent Puliafico will portray John Quincy Adams and give a synopsis of his life from 1814 thru 1843, as well as highlights of his trip from Quincy to Cincinnati in November 1843.

Vincent Puliafico (John Quincy Adams) of Plattsburgh, New York has been portraying Ambassador John Quincy Adams since 2009. He has been involved with the War of 1812 Museum run by the Battle of Plattsburgh Association since 1997. He is author of “John Quincy Adams and His Role in the War of 1812.” and “History of the Seal used by John Quincy Adams in His Early Diplomatic Career (1794-1817).” Vincent Puliafico, was born 1953 and raised in Ware, Massachusetts. After serving in the U.S. Air force, he moved to Plattsburgh, NY in 1979. He is currently a resident of Plattsburgh, with his wife Karen.
