On April 13th, the Iowa Genealogical Society will be hosting its annual Spring Conference.  Tina Beaird is this year’s spotlight speaker and you’ll want to hear what this Midwest regional expert has to say.  Her experience and knowledge in family research can be the key to “Unlocking Your Past” and break thru the barriers to researching your family history.

Held in the West Wing at the Iowa Genealogical Society library, hear Tina speak on topics covering your local, regional and internet research needs.  Topics covered include: “Courthouse Finds”, “Internet Archive for the Family Historian”, “Rediscover Your WWI Soldier’s Experience”, and “Unlocking the Treasures Within Midwest Archives and Repositories”.

The event will be held at: The Iowa Genealogical Society, 628 E. Grand Ave in Des Moines, Iowa.  Doors will open at 8:00 AM, the program starts at 9:00 and ending about 4:00 PM.  Lunch is included.
