A lecture by Vitek Kruta of VK Restoration from Holyoke, MA.

Restoration of paintings and painted surfaces in three stages:

1) Investigation and testing
2) stabilizing cleaning and repairs
3) Touch ups and protective coating

The lecture will explain three specific steps necessary to complete successful restoration of painted surfaces such as fine art paintings, murals, frescoes and decorative painting using samples and photos from Vitek’s 30 years career as art restorer working on castles and churches for 10 years in Germany and 20 years in the USA as a freelance art restorer working for antique dealers, private collectors and various institutions.

After the lecture, Vitek will give free estimates for restoration or cleaning of paintings, picture frames and antiques if you would bring paintings or objects to be restored with you.
