Anyone searching for records about their ancestors’ arrival in the United States will find a wealth of resources available at the National Archives Center in Waltham, Mass.  The American-French Genealogical Society will host a workshop about those resources on Sunday, February 3 at 1:30 pm at the AFGS Franco-American Heritage Center, 78 Earle Street in Woonsocket, R.I.

The workshop presenter, Seema Kenney, is a professional genealogist with more than 20 years of research experience.  She has a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University, and is the president of the Worcester Chapter of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists.  She also serves on the planning committee of the New England Regional Genealogy Conference.
