Hop Harvest Weekend

Celebrate the end of summer with a visit to Old World Wisconsin.  This is a fantastic time for a visit, the gardens are bursting with flowers and produce, the fields are ripe and the ktichens are full of delicious dishes.  And there will be beer!

As part of our Historic brewing program, staff and volunteers have cultivated a hops field - and now we need your help!  Join with other guests to take part in a traditional community harvest, just like families have done for generations.  After the harvest, grown-ups can enjoy a cold beer in the German Settlement area and talk with Old World Wisconsin's historic brewing team.  We'll even have root beer and games available for our younger guests.
