Celebrate the Season with MHS!
Join us for a family-friendly open house celebrating domestic arts and holiday traditions in Maine. Children's book authors and illustrators will be in the lecture hall, and we'll have a blacksmithing demonstration on the Longfellow House lawn. Inside the house you'll find piano music, spinning demonstrations, and food historian Sandy Oliver will discuss Civil War era food and preparation. Refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon.
