Holiday Open House – Lucy Aldrich’s WWII Christmas

Kick off the holiday season 1940’s style, featuring music by the Hummingbird Trio.  The Trio features swingin’ harmonies and toe-tapping rhythms inspired by the Andrews Sisters.  Elyssa Tardif, Director of the Goff Center for Education and Public Programs, will present “Ration with a Passion – Home Cooking in the World War II Era,” a talk (with samples!) about foods popular in the era.  Refreshments will be served throughout the Open House, and Aldrich House will be looking its best decorated for the holidays.  Don’t miss what has been called ‘the highlight of the holiday season’!
