2013 History Skills Workshops

As we fulfill one of our main mission areas—to support local historical organizations—the Historical Society of Michigan (HSM) continues to provide training and educational workshops for small- to medium-sized historical organizations and interested history advocates. Please join us for one or more of these training opportunities, which will help you to obtain skills that can be applied in your local museum, historical organization, or even in your own personal collections.

This year, we’re also excited to open a second, more spacious education room to host training opportunities.

If you are a personal member of HSM or represent an organization that itself is a member of the Society, registration is $39. Registration for non-members is $79 and includes a one-year HSM membership. Refreshments and materials are included with your registration.

Workshops are held from 9 a.m. to noon at the HSM Main Office at 5815 Executive Dr., Lansing, Michigan.
