You are invited to experience History At Play™, LLC's Pay-Per-HAP Watch Parties, Fridays at 7:30 PM Eastern Time (GMT-5), only on our Facebook Pay-Per-HAP Watch Group.

On Friday December 18, we are proud to present The Governor Lady: Nellie Tayloe Ross of Wyoming, a solo performance by Historical Interpreter Kay Sebring-Roberts Kuhlmann.

In The Governor Lady: Nellie Tayloe Ross of Wyoming, New Mexico-based Living Historian Kay Sebring-Roberts Kuhlmann introduces audiences to the first woman Governor in the United States. Follow the “Governor Lady” from humble beginnings in Missouri, to her arrival in Wyoming, as the bride of a Tennessee-born and bred lawyer, to her 1924 election to the highest seat of government in Wyoming. When we encounter Mrs. Tayloe Ross, it is 1928; she has recently arrived in Washington, D.C. as the new Director of the Women’s Division of the National Democratic Committee. Nellie’s remarkable story is as rich and fascinating as the 1920s; an exhilarating era into which she blazed her political prominence.

No recording, reproducing, distribution, nor download of this performance is permitted.
