Dolley Madison— wife to 4th American President James Madison, or The Presidentess, as she was known— regales you with festive tales of Washington City, as well as the escape from the Executive Mansion [White House] during British Invasion! Learn how she protected the portrait of His Excellency George Washington and if you are fortunate, you may even be invited to one of her famous squeezes, the first bipartisan gatherings where legislators were encouraged to mix business with pleasure. Enjoy Dolley's homespun American hospitality!
