Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

Stroll the Crimson Campus with our Costumed guides as they tell tales of the most fascinating moments through nearly 400 years of Harvard history. The nation’s oldest institution of higher education comes to life through captivating, hilarious, and occasionally bizarre stories. Find out things you never knew about the Titanic, rebellious pig roasts, and the mystery of why John Harvard’s foot is yellow. Our stories will entertain history buffs and restless children alike! Come play in our yard.

Our professional storytellers are unaffiliated with Harvard University, and can give you the in-depth history of the institution from a historian’s perspective. This tour lasts just over an hour, visiting the Harvard Lampoon, the Widener Memorial Library, the John Harvard Statue, among other famous sites. Private tours are available if you call ahead.

Admission for the tour is $15 for adults, $12 for students/seniors, $7 for kids 9-13, FREE for kids 8 & under. We offer various discounts, so please ask us if you qualify! This tour is also available in Spanish, French, and Italian. We gather by the Visitor Information kiosk at the Harvard Square T Stop. You can’t miss our guides in hoop skirts and top hats!
