Newton residents are invited to enjoy free admission to both our museums. At 
the Jackson Homestead and Museum, 527 Washington Street Noon–5:00 PM AND at the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds, 286 Waverley Avenue 10:00 AM-4:00 PM.

The Jackson Homestead and Museum has two parking spaces for people with disabilities adjacent to its main entry. The main entrance has 3 steps up the door. Alternately, the ground level is accessible by wheelchair lift. The museum’s fully accessible restroom is located in the ell on the ground floor.
