The Norwood Historical Society is the repository of information about the history of Norwood, Massachusetts and is headquartered in the F. Holland Day House. 

Founded in 1907, the goals and objectives of the Norwood Historical Society are: 

* Collecting and preserving objects, artifacts, documents, photographs and memorabilia which relate to Norwood's history 

* Conducting educational programs, special events and outreach 

* Encouraging and promoting historical research and publications 

* Serving as a resource for the preservation of local history 

* Maintaining the F. Holland Day House. 

The F. Holland Day House is open for tours and seasonal exhibits on Sunday afternoons from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in June, July and August and during special events during the rest of the year. The Day House is also open to group tours and for research by appointment year round. Call 781-762-9197 to request an appointment. Tours are $5 per person (free for Norwood Historical Society members).
