Join Essex Heritage, with Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care and the Danvers Historical Society, for an evening celebrating the Endecott Pear Tree—deemed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to be the oldest planted living fruit tree in North America!

The evening will feature a walking tour of the Endecott Pear Tree, pear-themed refreshments and special lecture: Pioneering Moments in Orthopaedic Medicine by Dr. David Torchiana, MD, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Massachusetts General Physicians Organization and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Doug Peterson, D.O. with the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care.

This event is part of our Partnership Lecture Series with Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care and the Danvers Historical Society to promote healthy living and ecologically friendly connections in our communities to foster stewardship and ensure the longevity of the natural, historic and cultural treasures here in Essex County, Massachusetts.
