Ellen Alden presents "The Incredible Journey of a 'Hidden' Family Treasure."

Ellen Alden will present the research, writing and promotional journey of her historical novel, "Yours Faithfully, Florence Burke." The book is based upon 19 original letters that her great, great-grandfather wrote to his wife and children during his time in the American Civil War. It offers first-hand accounts of the ravages of the Great Hunger, the harrowing journey to America, the insolence shown to Irish immigrants, and the atrocities of the American Civil War.
