Join cartoonist Marek Bennett for a hands-on Comics Workshop exploring the wide world of history comics! Using blank paper, pencils, ink, and four basic “storytelling elements,” we'll dig deep into the rich archives of the New Hampshire Historical Society and create eye-catching pages of original artwork that share surprising pieces of the Granite State's unique history. Learn how artists and authors use peer feedback to improve their work, and how you can publish your comics to share with friends, family, and new readers. No experience required—everyone can draw comics! This workshop is recommended for kids ages 10+; family groups are encouraged to attend together. Space is limited, and advanced registration is required.
