Join the University of Massachusetts Boston History Department and Boston National Historical Park for an afternoon of roundtable discussions.

At “Critical Conversations,” NPS interpreters, historians, curators, and their colleagues will reflect on the Organization of American Historians' 2012 report, Imperiled Promise: The State of History in the National Park Service, which critically examines the state of history in the National Parks.  They will discuss the report, debate its implications, and brainstorm ways to meet identified challenges.
