Civil War Encampment

This will be a living history event to demonstrate camp life for Civil War soldiers and will include displays of Civil War era items, musket and cannon firings, marching and bayonet drills, children’s drilling, children’s games, cooking demonstrations, and a ladies fashion show.  Information will be available on Ste. Genevieve County Union and Confederate Civil War soldiers.  You might just learn that your great-great grandfather fought in the Civil War.
