Back in the 1800’s, the circus paraded through town with wild animals, musicians and acrobats. For more than 100 years, the biggest entertainment in Central Massachusetts was the circus. On Tuesday, October 2, the Fitchburg Historical Society is premiering a new movie about the history of the circus called “Circus Lives On!” This one-hour documentary by local Filmmaker Judith Lindstedt will begin at 6 p.m. at the Historical Society Headquarters at 781 Main Street, Fitchburg.
