Hanford Mills Museum Hosts Chuck D’Imperio for Book Talk on New York Museums

On Monday, November 18 at 7 pm, Hanford Mills Museum in East Meredith, NY, will host author, radio host and newspaper columnist Chuck D’Imperio. The program, which is free and open to all, will focus on his latest book, Unknown Museums of Upstate New York: A Guide to 50 Treasures.

“Chuck is a great speaker, and he shines a light on wonderful museums throughout the state,” says Liz Callahan, the executive director of Hanford Mills. “His enthusiasm for history and love of New York are clear, and I look forward to hearing about his travels, and the interesting places he recommends visiting.”

Hanford Mills Museum, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is featured in the book. D’Imperio calls it "a little gem of a place tucked away in the beautiful hills of Delaware County." He recommends seeing the waterwheel in action for the “wow factor” and also coming to Museum festivals.
A book-signing follows the talk.
