The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center is participating with the African American Visual Artists Guild of Dayton, Ohio, to host Black Heritage Through Visual Rhythms, a juried national art exhibit that is expected to become an annual event. Held at the Ohio Historical Society's National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center, the exhibit is on display Nov. 1, 2013, through Jan. 31, 2014. The exhibit allows artists the opportunity to share their talent and art forms with other artists, students and visitors and to increase awareness about artists of African descent.
