What’s in a name? From Boston, Lincolnshire, to Boston, Massachusetts.

On September 7, 1630, the Massachusetts Bay Company declared the names of three new towns:  Dorchester, Watertown – and Boston. Why Boston? Why not London, or Lincoln, or any of the other English Puritan centers?
