Bedford: The National D-Day Memorial and 70th Anniversary of D-Day Commemoration

The 70th Anniversary of D-Day will be observed with guest speakers, dignitaries, and a special morning ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths by D-Day units. During the afternoon we will be treated to a USO show featuring the 29th Division Band and a "Salute to Sinatra."

The day includes a flyover of a P-51 and a C-47 and a parachute jump by the Golden Knights. Wear your red, white, and blue and show your colors on this special day honoring those who served in World War II.
