Battle of Iuka Reenactment
Join us on the field for the 151st Battle of Iuka Anniversary beginning Friday, August 30th, through Sunday, September 1st. Our re-enactment will take place just outside the Iuka City limits on September 1, 2013. This will be a weekend family event where those dusty old history books will come alive. There will be a spectacular Battle Re-enactment, Field Demonstrations, a large Living History Village, Living History Activities Tents, Guest Speakers and an extensive Sutler area. Hundreds of re-enactors from across the nation will be staging the battle re-enactment for this very special re-enactment. Visit the camps, learn about Civil War Medicine, Music, Weapons and Daily Life.
