    Improve listing Presented by

The traditional series returns this spring!  Bring your preschool-age children to experience St. Louis history by exploring the museum exhibits and participating in hands-on activities!  During Parent & Me programs, families move throughout the gallery and classroom spaces at their own pace as they complete activities incorporating touch, movement, smell, sound, art, and more.  Activities are appropriate for children ages 2-5.  All classes are held from 10:00-11:30am.  Light snacks will be available.

This is a 4-week series that will feature Currents, Reflections, and The 1904 World’s Fair galleries!  Families can register on Thursdays OR Fridays.  Or, classes are also offered on 2 Saturdays.

Each class has a different theme:

Week One 4/4 & 4/5: Blue Skies
Celebrate sunny days with lots of outdoor-style games and everything that soars high in the sky, from the Arch to airplanes.

Week Two 4/11 & 4/12 : Animal Adventures
Focus on farm animals, fishing, and wildlife in the Missouri area, and meet real baby farm animals!

Week Three 4/18, 4/19: Hard at Work
Explore careers through dramatic play.  Kids can put out a fire, pack a briefcase, drive the trolley, and more!

Week Four 4/25, 4/26: Treasures of the World
At the 1904 World’s Fair, people from all over the world came to St. Louis.  Kids will make a treasure map and fill a treasure chest as they discover unique objects from all over the world.

Outdoor activities are planned on most days but are subject to weather.  Light snacks will be available.  Reservations are required, and space is limited.  Please call 314-454-3161.  Program costs must be paid via credit card when making reservations:
