11:15 to 11:45 a.m. – You Are There Research and Development (add-on session; limited to first 15 registrants)

Whether you just joined or you have been a long-time member, there are plenty of new things to learn about IHS. Join us for a continental breakfast accompanied by remarks from IHS President and CEO John Herbst and three behind-the-scenes tours of the IHS collections, conservation and exhibits departments. Along the way, you will get a rare look inside our vault, learn how IHS exhibits are brought to life from original historical materials and explore stories from Indiana's past in Destination Indiana.

Arrive between 7:30 and 8 a.m. to take advantage of special early bird savings of 20% off all regularly priced merchandise at the Basile History Market (cannot be combined with other discounts). Plus, all attendees will receive a free gift.

Following the orientation, you have the opportunity to attend a more in-depth review of the research and development process of our You Are There exhibits by Eloise Batic, director, Exhibitions Research and Development. This is an optional add on to the orientation limited to only 15 guests.
