If 18th-century African-American patriot Crispus Attucks could tell you his story of life and rebellion in pre-Revolutionary Boston, what would he say?  The Freedom Trail® Foundation begins celebrating Black History Month with its acclaimed African-American Patriots Tour, taking visitors through historic events of the American Revolution and the contributions of African-Americans who played a significant role in the country’s formation.

Tales of intrigue and bravery, poetry and defiance by black Bostonians unfold during the 90-minute walking tour of the Freedom Trail.  Led by costumed guides, visitors view history through the eyes of revolutionary figures like Attucks, Phyllis Wheatley, Prince Hall, Peter Salem and others.
