A Day of Croquet

    Improve listing Presented by

Test your skills at croquet, the traditional game enjoyed by the Bowen family during their summer sojourns at Roseland Cottage, or just try hitting a ball through a wicket. Courts and equipment are provided, and representatives from the U.S. Croquet Association are available to assist. Balls and mallets are also available for children. Hear how croquet nearly destroyed the presidency of Roseland guest President Rutherford B. Hayes. During the day, Roseland Cottage tours emphasize the Bowen family's summertime recreational activities and games. Free house tours to those dressed in white.
