Governor Sam Stewart and his family moved into the Original Governor’s Mansion (OGM) in 1913. To celebrate this centennial anniversary of the occupancy of the OGM by Montana’s First Families, the OGM Restoration Society—in partnership with the Montana Club and the Montana Historical Society—is hosting a grand ball featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, a no host bar, music, and dancing. The dress will be period dress of the early 1900’s or black tie. Governor Steve Bullock will be the guest of honor. Tickets for the event are $25.00 per person and are being sold at the Hallmark Store in the mall and the Montana Historical Society Museum Store; only 400 tickets will be sold for this event. Funds raised will be used for restoration efforts at the Mansion.
