Use the capabilities built in to The History List to manage the display of event information on your site simply by adding one line of code to your site. Use the tool below to generate that line of code. No technical skills needed. Once it's added, every time you add or edit an event on The History List it will show up immediately and automatically on your own site.
Use this same tool to create a combined calendar that displays all events from all participating organizations. Every time one of those organizations adds or updates their events on The History List, their updates will appear automatically in the combined list on every site or blog where it's been embedded. (Alternatively, you can select specific events by using tags with this widget builder.)
Two formats are available, a full page list with all the details and a scrolling list with basic information.
Step 1: After all of the organizations and their events have been added to The History List (Instructions), type the name of your organization or all participating organizations in this box and select each name when it appears.
Step 2: Select the format for the list:
Embed code
Copy and paste in to the code for your site. If you don’t have access to the code, e-mail this to the person who does.

Select the number of upcoming events to show in the scrolling list, or specify the time period covered. By default, the next 20 events will be shown. If there are fewer than 20 events that meet the criteria you selected above, only those events will be shown. When more events are added to The History List that meet your criteria, these events will be added to the scrolling list automatically.
