2016 Guide to History Camps for kids

An estimated eight million kids attend a summer camp.  But only a small fraction of that number attend one of the great summer programs or camps at historic sites and institutions. In order to increase awareness and participation, we created this list, which is the only one of its kind.  If your organization has a summer camp or program for kids that is focused on history or that takes place at a historic site, please add it.  There is no cost.

If you entered your camps last year, just update those listings; you don't have to enter them again.  If you are new to The History List, request a new account and learn more about how The History List is designed to meet the needs of history organizations.

If you’re looking for a history camp for adults, find out more about History Camp, the one-day unconference for all things history.
