Bristol, RI, June, 2015 - Linden Place, the Federal-style mansion, built in 1810 by architect Russell Warren for slave trader George DeWolf, offers children and adults the opportunity to see this historical house museum in a whole new light! Make your way through our 200-year old mansion rooms and seek out dozens of artifacts, big and small, while you learn about Linden Place's rich architectural and family history. Seek out a Roman, life-size marble statue of Bacchus, search for George Washington and find out the meaning behind the phrase “sleep tight and don’t let the bedbugs bite!” Fun and educational for all ages!
