Historic Huguenot Street has announced its Fourth Saturday event for April 25, a special “Myths and Legends of the Mid-Hudson Valley” walking tour, led by Guest Experience Manager Genevieve Casagrande. The tour will begin at the historic 1799 LeFevre House (54 Huguenot Street) at 7:30 pm.

Casagrande will walk guests through the National Historic Landmark District, sharing regional legends of mysterious hunters, heroic rescues, and more. Throughout the tour, guests will encounter theatrical reenactments of scenes from these memorable stories. Both SUNY New Paltz Theatre Arts students and volunteers from the college’s co-ed Service Fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, will be participating. Performances will be multidisciplinary, incorporating song, dance, and acting throughout the tour.

Following the tour, guests will enjoy hot chocolate and treats in the DuBois Fort (81 Huguenot Street), catered by Frida’s Bakery & Café in Milton (fridasbakeryny.com).
