MUSIC AT THE MUSEUM
Foggy Mountain Consort

Starting with plucked string music and songs from as early as 1600, the consort moves through 19th century ballads all the way to old-time bluegrass – combining Renaissance and modern instruments to perform music from a wide historical range in a new way. Consort members Lauck Benson, Peter Lehman, Anne Goodwin, Art Schatz, and Doug Freundlich draw rich textures from the lute, banjo, violone (Renaissance double bass), violin, guitar, and voices. This special concert will be enjoyed by folk of all ages.

Tickets are $15 and include admission to the museum, $10 for seniors, students, and members – come early to tour the museum!
