Linden Place's Summer History Camp for Kids, a week-long summer camp focused on the Colonial period in Rhode Island for 3rd – 6th grade students. Summer History Camp offers kids the chance to step back into 1810 Bristol and spend some time living the life of a Colonial child and explore the past and the world around them through enriching and engaging activities.  Join the fun with games, stories, crafts, painting, drawing and outdoor expeditions. Your curious youngster will love discovering history in a camp designed just for them!

Linden Place’s History Kids will take mini field trips around Bristol, do hands-on arts and crafts, weave their own cloth, play Colonial games, scavenger hunts, portrait painting, ballroom dancing, parlor games, create skits and a play, visit and learn about Linden Place Mansion, its archives and other historic sites, learn the real meaning of "Sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite" and other old fashioned sayings.
