    Improve listing Presented by

The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) will host an open house at the Kentucky Military History Museum for anyone interested in volunteering at  the museum on Friday and Saturday afternoons this summer.

Volunteers are needed to tell the public about the history and architecture of the building, which once served as the State Arsenal. They should be friendly, outgoing, articulate and able to communicate effectively with people of all ages in an active-learning environment. KHS will provide training.

For more information on this and other volunteer opportunities, contact Phyllis Gilman, volunteer program administrator, at 502-564-1792 or phyllis.gilman@ky.gov.
