HISTORIC NEWTON COMMUNITY WEEKEND at the Jackson Homestead
Newton residents are invited to enjoy free admission to both the Historic Newton museums. At the Jackson Homestead and Museum, 527 Washington Street Noon–5:00 PM AND the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds, 286 Waverley Avenue 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, Newton 02458
 

The Jackson Homestead and Museum has two parking spaces for people with disabilities adjacent to its main entry. The main entrance has 3 steps up the door. Alternately, the ground level is accessible by wheelchair lift. The museum’s fully accessible restroom is located in the ell on the ground floor.
