Join the Kentucky Historical Society for lunch and Food for Thought as Appalshop director Elizabeth Barret and archivist Caroline Rubens show and talk about the recently restored at-risk 16mm film "Civilian Conservation Corps in Pine Mountain State Park." Carl Zody, park superintendent and CCC supervisor, made the film. It provides the most extensive moving images known of CCC activity in Pineville, Ky.

On the menu: Spinach & strawberry salad with poppy seed dressing, chicken salad on croissant, orzo pasta salad, marinated asparagus, fruit tart, iced tea/lemonade
