A Civil War Dance

    Improve listing Presented by

Join us for a wonderful evening of Civil War dances, with live music by the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers with the Ad Hoc Waltz and Quadrille Band! No previous knowledge of the dances is required, as each dance will be taught during the evening. Dances are easy and fun to learn and meant for all ages.

Period dress is not a requirement either.  Just come and join the dancers inside while the encampment campfires on the Common truly take you back in time.

The Historic Village Hall, 2 Oak Street, Framingham, is a beautiful building built in 1834 and the ballroom is a perfect location for a Civil War dance. All ages are welcome. Refreshments will be served. Both modern attire and period costumes are welcome! If you would like to dress in a Civil War Era outfit, contact Boston Costume for rental options.

Refreshments will be served.

Note that the Village Hall is not handicapped accessible.

This is being held as part of a Civil War Living History and Encampment Weekend, taking place October 3 & 4 on the Town Common.
